Hey everyone! My name is Michelle and I am currently a freshman at the University of Illinois. I am majoring in mechanical engineering; I am also interested in the medical field and am considering working with medical equipment, from a mechanical perspective, of course! As of right now, I am taking the basic courses of math, chemistry, and physics, which are somewhat interesting. I am also taking the introductory course for mechanical engineering, which, despite the 8 o'clock lecture, is very interesting!
My college experience so far has been great- I've met a lot of new people and made some great friends, and the change of life from high school can be weird at times (weird in a good way!), and there are so many clubs to get involved in! I am involved in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), SWE, and RFI, which is an R/C plane group where we build planes and actually learn to fly them... we will see how good I get at that... =)
